Description of the barn
An 18th Century stable and hayloft, in an idyllic setting over-looking St John's Beck on a peaceful hill farm with stunning views to Blencathra, Helvellyn and Castle Rock and just 6 miles from Keswick.
The barn has a sleeping area upstairs, with a sitting and dining area below. Separate toilet, shower (charge for hot water) and cooking areas with the building. Wood burning stove (fuel extra). BBQ and seating area outside.
Low Bridge End farm has a tea garden - all home baking.
Facilities
Toilet and shower in the main building. Hot water (£1 per person charge providing constant hot water for showers and washing ). Laundry facilities (extra charge). Wood Burning Stove. Electric lighting throughout (no electric sockets). Outside seating and BBQ area.
Pets
2 Well behaved Dogs welcome - Sole Occupancy Only
Dogs are not to be left in cars.
Further notes
Arrival time is after 4pm on the day of Arrival and must be vacated by 10am on the morning of departure. The barn will be ready for your arrival. Maximum parking for 2 cars.
If booking with a child under 5 you must book the entire barn for the sole use of your party.
Sole use 2 night bookings for Friday and Saturday nights, Bank Holidays 3 nights sole use bookings only.

Directions
Leave M6 jct 40 and take A66 to Keswick. Turn left opposite Threlkeld village for St John’s in the Vale, signposted Mining Museum and follow B5322 for 3 miles. Low Bridge End Farm is on the right just after the post box on the left. Drive in over the bridge. From the A591 Windermere Road turn right at Stanah, beyond the King’s Head Thirlspot signed St John’s-in-the-Vale. The farm is the first on the left after approximately one mile. The 555 bus stops at Smaithwaite Road end. Jump over the ladder stile and walk 0.5 miles along a well defined public footpath and you arrive at Low Bridge End Farm.
