Description of the barn
Fell End is a traditional 18th Century Lakeland stone barn, located within its own grass courtyard approximately ½ mile from the farm.
It is within easy distance of Coniston (6 miles) and the Duddon Valley (5 miles).
There are magnificent views towards the Coniston and Langdale Fells, down to the Duddon Estuary. Come and stay and witness the Star-Filled Skies, a truly breathtaking sight.
Experience the ‘Sound of Silence’ in the tranquil and calming Fell End Barn.
Facilities
As there is no electricity you will require suitable lights. Eg. head torches / gas lamps. Wood Burning Stove. The barn is lit by chandeliers and tea lights (provided) There is 2 picnic styles table for eating, wash basin and w.c.
Campfires or BBQs are not a problem and wood is available from the farm.

Arrival time is after 4pm on the day of Arrival and must be vacated by 10am on the morning of departure. Arrival no later than 10pm - Please Telephone. Key can be collected from the Farmhouse on the way to Barn.
Directions
Leave M6 at J36, follow the A590 to Barrow, Greenodd Estuary. On a section of dual carriageway look for the sign for Broughton-in Furness and turn right (A5092). Follow this road until you reach Grizebeck. Just before Grizebeck garage there is a lane on the right signposted 'Woodland' take this lane for 2 miles, over a cattle grid, until road becomes level. Look for a sign on left for 'Woodland Hall' - if you go over 2nd cattle grid you've missed the sign! Go up the lane for 1 mile.
